Can I keep my apartment while I’m at Broadway House?
Yes, but the financial arrangements will be the resident’s responsibility.

What happens to my income when I’m admitted to Broadway House?
All of your monthly income will be transferred here as part of your payment for your stay here. If you have S.S.I., you will be allotted $40.00 for your personal needs. If you have S.S.D., you will be allotted $35.00 for your personal needs.

Can I leave the facility to visit family?
Yes, 14 days after your admission, and upon approval of your doctor.

Can I keep my own doctor?
Yes, but your doctor will have to agree that he or she will be available on call 24 hours.

What happens when I’m ready to leave?
We have a Case Manager who starts discharge plans on the day of admission and will follow through until you are ready to leave. Appropriate placement will be done at that time.

What are the extras that I will be responsible for?
Clothing, cigarettes, and special toiletries that are not provided by the facility. Broadway House has a lot of donated items such as clothes, shoes, coats, etc.

What religious services can I go to?
Non Denominational/Full-Time Chaplain/Variety of Volunteer Church Groups

What other payment sources do you accept?
We take Medicaid, Private Pay, and Private Insurance.

Do I have to share a room with someone?
Yes, single rooms are basically used for medical reasons.

What services does Broadway House provide to promote my health?
We have three infectious disease doctors on staff, physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychiatrists, and substance abuse counselors.
