Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Department at Broadway House provides loving and compassionate care for all our residents, their families and our staff.

All religious traditions are held sacred. An ecumenical team of our chaplain and visiting chaplains and members of other religious faiths offer:

• spiritual care to all through compassionate presence and prayer
• sharing in pain and grief
• celebrating hopes and joys
• calming anxieties and fears
• searching for the deeper meaning to life's crises with our residents, their families and our staff
• experiences of prayer, and ritual sensitive to the needs of the individual
• assistance in contacting the residents’ own clergy, if desired
• assistance to our residents in expressing advanced spiritual directives, if desired

Our chaplain visits patients on a regular basis and can be contacted through the staff or by visiting the Pastoral Care office located on the main floor.

Our chapel is also located on the main floor and is open daily for prayer, quiet and meditation.
