The City of Newark Office of Partnerships and Grants Management

Broadway House for Continuing Care was honored by the City of Newark Office of Partnerships and Grants Management at the City’s first Emergency Shelter Grant Conference on August 25, 2011. As part of this conference, they honored local agencies who have continuously worked to eradicate homelessness through emergency assistance. Through funding coming from the Federal Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDs (HOPWA) program and administered by the City of Newark, Broadway House and our HOPWA program director Gloria Horton have for many years worked diligently to provide emergency rental and utilities services to individuals and families in the greater Newark area who have been faced with challenges. We are honored to accept this appreciation award. Thank you to the City of Newark Office.
