Broadway House Honors Senator Ron Rice

December 2005—Broadway House of Continuing Care recently presented Senator Ronald Rice with its Outstanding Service Award. Senator Rice has demonstrated his commitment to adults living with HIV/AIDS through his support of Senate Bill No. 2106 and the Senate Resolution which recognized World AIDS Day 2005 and honored those who provide care for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Senate Bill No. 2106 requires the Commissioner of Health and Senior Services to establish special long-term care facility admission criteria for Medicaid eligible people with HIV/AIDS and would specifically apply to facilities that only serve the HIV/AIDS population.
