Honoring Ten Years of Dedication and Service
NEWARK, NJ, January 13, 2006 – At Broadway House for Continuing Care, volunteers are essential members of the organizational team. They bring messages of love and hope to our residents with every smile they share.
On December 9, 2005 Frank Rubino of Nutley and Larry Kenney of Bloomfield were honored by James Gonzalez, CEO and Jeanine Reilly, Executive Director for their 10 years of volunteer service to the residents of Broadway House. Rubino and Kenney conduct the movies and popcorn activity faithfully every Tuesday night. They encourage residents to socialize with each other as well as with visitors and volunteers. Along the way, they have provided a reliable, friendly face to residents and motivated others to turn their lives around.
“Through their time and dedication, Frank Rubino and Larry Kenney have demonstrated what it means to exhibit true selflessness and devotion. Broadway House is very lucky to have them as part of our Volunteer Team,” said James Gonzalez, CEO.
