Gentle Hearts Recognized for Service

Broadway House for Continuing Care has recently announced the recipients of its Volunteer of the Quarter Award. For the 3rd Quarter of 2005, the New Beginnings Ministry of Hawthorne Gospel Church and its representatives Peter German of Fair Lawn, Chris Tangaro of Jersey City, Frank Cikutovich of Maywood, William Braun of Hackensack, Tony Falcone of Lodi, Joe Meyer of Wayne, Marisa Boada of Glen Rock, Joe Keegan of North Haledon, and Bob Gow of Haledon were chosen by an overwhelming majority of residents.

The New Beginnings Ministry has been a part of the volunteer program at Broadway House for the past decade. They have assisted the recreation department by providing bible study sessions every Thursday evening. Their motivation for volunteering is to bring the message of love and hope to the residents of Broadway House.
