Much of what we do at Broadway House goes beyond the traditional services and therapies used to treat HIV/AIDS. Our holistic approach to care means we are constantly innovating new ways to create a better life for our patients. Our Specialty Services are a perfect illustration of the way we work at Broadway House—we are always thinking “outside the box” to offer care and treatment that sets us apart from every other New Jersey facility.
Innovation for a Better Life
Broadway House Specialty Services include:
Broadway House actually provides an in-house bank, where our residents can deposit funds into an interest bearing account. We also offer classes in Financial Management to ensure our residents leave Broadway House with the tools to make educated financial decisions.
As a result of caring for HIV/AIDS residents, Broadway House staff have developed special sensitivity and expertise in providing culturally competent, patient-centered care to the LGBTQ community. We partner with community groups to ensure our LGBTQ residents have all the support and resources they need during their stay. People of any background, race or sexual orientation are welcome and can feel confident in the care they will receive.
Welcoming the LGBTQ Community
A Clinical Dietician is on staff to ensure healthy, nutritious meals for our residents, catered to their individual health and religious/cultural needs.
At Broadway House, all religious beliefs and traditions are held sacred. Our Pastoral Care Department is there to provide comfort and compassionate care to residents and their families. Our chapel is available to residents and families for prayer and meditation.
